2005 Prime Ministers Employer of the Year Awards

The Prime Minister’s Employer of the Year Awards reward employers who work hard to employ and retain people with disability.  The Awards also recognise the efforts of service providers – organisations that help people with disability to gain and keep a job.

More than 500 people attended the 2005 Prime Minister’s Employer of the Year Awards ceremony in the Great Hall, Parliament House on 1 December.

Respected journalist Anne Fulwood was MC for the event.

Guest speaker Dean Clifford gave an inspirational talk about his own journey into employment.
Dean’s employer, Ken Mills Toyota, received the National Medium Business award for their commitment to giving Dean and other people with disability real and ongoing jobs.

A full list of the category winners can be found here.
