Changes to Vocational Rehabilitation Services

On 1 July 2007, partial contestability was introduced to Vocational Rehabilitation Services with 18 new organisations contracted to provide up to 30 per cent of the business nationally. CRS Australia will provide the remaining 70 per cent of business nationally. Prior to this, the program was delivered by CRS Australia as a monopoly government provider. The 19 organisations service 409 sites nationally (including outreach services).

Due to the partial contestability of the market, people looking for more information about Vocational Rehabilitation Services will no longer be referred to CRS Australia. Instead people will be referred to the JobAccess website, or asked to phone a JobAccess Adviser on 1800 464 800.
