Corporate Leaders for Indigenous Employment

  • The Corporate Leaders for Indigenous Employment Project is for major private sector Australian companies that want to make a real difference to the number of Indigenous Australians in lasting employment, by creating viable, commerically-based Indigenous job opportunities.

Community Development Employment Projects (CDEP)

Indigenous Coordination Centres (ICC)

  • Indigenous Coordination Centres look after most of Australia’s Government Indigenous programs and negotiate shared responsibility agreements with local Indigenous people and communities.

Job Network

  • Job Network is a national network of private and community organisations that can help you find a suitably qualified employee for your vacancy. Call 1802 102 for more information.

National Indigenous Cadetship Project

  • The National Indigenous Cadetship Project (NICP) can also help you find Indigenous students undertaking diploma, advanced diploma or undergraduate degree studies. Call 1802 102 for more information.

Structured Training and Employment Projects (STEP)

  • For larger businesses, STEP can provide flexible funding for packages of tailored assistance for those wanting to take on more employees.

Wage Assistance

  • Wage assistance provides a subsidy to employers of up to $4,400 for employing Indigenous job seekers and can help your business cover costs such as recruitment, wages, uniforms or training.
