A lot more learning goes on in schools than the pure academic results indicate! If performing a job effectively was solely based on academic results and previous job descriptions, there would be little point in conducting job interview. Extra-curricular activities undertaken during your time at school can make your résumé look more appealing and make you stand out as an applicant.
