Job Placement Licence Only arrangements
As outlined in The Future of Employment Services in Australia Discussion Paper and in the Frequently Asked Questions, Job Placement Licence Only arrangements will not form part of the new employment services system. The Job Placement Licence 2006-2009 will cease on 30 June 2009. No new licences will be accepted.
From 1 July 2009, under the new employment services, Job Services Australia providers will gather vacancies , match and refer job seekers to employment.
Stand alone Job Placement Licence arrangements will not continue post 30 June 2009, private recruitment organisations have a continuing role in finding employment for Job Seekers. There are opportunities for recruitment organisations to build strategic alliances with local Job Services Australia providers. These alliances can assist in providing recruitment organisations with job ready job seekers.
