Job Placement Services
Job Placement Services are the Australian Government funded recruitment services, with more than 400 recruitment organisations delivering services from over 2500 offices.
Organisations delivering Job Placement services deal directly with employers to source vacancies and place registered job seekers in those vacancies.

Job Placement Licence Only arrangements
As outlined in The Future of Employment Services in Australia Discussion Paper and in the Frequently Asked Questions, Job Placement Licence Only arrangements will not form part of the new employment services system. Licences granted under the current arrangements will expire on 30 June 2009. Interested organisations can apply for a Job Placement Licence (JPL) up until the end of November 2008. New licences issued after this time will have a full 6 months to deliver Job Placement Services.
JPL applications close on 30 November 2008 with licences being issued in December. For information on the application process, go to apply for a Job Placement Licence.
Under the new employment services, Providers will perform Job Placement vacancy gathering, matching and job seeker referral activities, and receive Job Placement fees for successful placement of eligible job seekers. For further information about the new employment services, including answers to Frequently Asked Questions, please refer to the Employment Services webpages.
