2008 APS Remuneration Survey

The 2008 APS Remuneration Survey provides data on the APS remuneration arrangements as at 31 December 2008.

The survey consists of three components: Senior Executive Service (SES) remuneration; non‑SES remuneration; and a broader market comparison of APS remuneration against private and State public service remuneration.

Fifty Six APS agencies participated in the survey in 2008.

3 Total Reward is the Total Remuneration Package plus any bonus payments.

4 The calculations of Total Remuneration Package and Total Reward are made separately for each incumbent and then ranked. Thus, the median Total Reward figure, for example, is not the sum of all the medians of each component.
