e-CODE

e-CODE (Electronic Construction Online Data Entry) is an online tool for Australian Government agencies to meet requirements to report planned and current building and construction projects to the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).

e-CODE provides agencies with the ability to report or update information at any stage of the project process.

To access e-CODE, log on if you are a current user, or download, complete and return the e-CODE Access Request Form

Your reporting obligations

Agencies are required to report:
  • to DEEWR on current and planned construction through e-CODE.
  • suspected breaches of the Code  and Guidelines to the Code Monitoring Group within 21 days of the client becoming aware of the alleged breach. The Code Monitoring Group can be contacted via email at building@deewr.gov.au  or by post:
