Carl is a consultant with Wesley Uniting Employment with 20 years training experience. He is a staunch advocate of ESP.

At Wesley Uniting, ESP is primarily used with clients who have been unemployed for over 12 months. Youth and mature age job seekers, and job seekers with qualifications who are unsure of their career direction, are also encouraged to undertake ESP.
“As case managers, we don’t often know in what direction to point the client and have to rely solely on what they tell us … we could end up sending them to jobs they are not suited to.”
Carl believes that ESP is an excellent tool to assess the skills of the unemployed and get them back into the workforce. He has seen positive results with ESP.
“I find that after completing ESP, the majority of job seekers are more motivated to look for work and are applying for jobs,” says Carl.
