Job Network Performance

Star Ratings:

The Job Network Star Ratings PDF (590KB)  RTF (2.20MB) for the two year period ending 31 December 2008 are now available. The December 2008 Star Ratings are based on the existing rating system.

Reporting of the December 2008 ratings is part of existing employment services performance management arrangements and is separate to the current Employment Services 2009-2012 purchasing process. As the current purchasing process has not yet concluded, Providers should not draw any conclusions regarding the outcomes of the Employment Services 2009-2012 purchasing process from the published ratings.

From 1 July 2009, a new employment services system will be introduced. The proposed new system is designed to be simpler and more effective, and assist the most disadvantaged job seekers gain sustainable and worthwhile employment. The Request for Tender was released on 29 September 2008 and final tender results are scheduled to be announced in March 2009.

Performance Reviews:

The department is not intending to issue Provider Feedback Summaries to Job Network members or offer performance feedback discussions for the performance period ending 31 December 2008 as, at this time, the Employment Services 2009-2012 purchasing process has not yet concluded. However, if there are any questions or issues in relation to the published ratings, Job Network members should not hesitate to contact their Account Manager who will make arrangements for a discussion following completion of the Employment Services 2009-2012 purchasing process.

Performance Management Framework from 1 July 2009:

The Request for Tender included information on an updated performance management framework which will be introduced from 1 July 2009 and which was developed in consultation with an Expert Reference Group.

Access Economics has been selected to examine the technical elements of the new performance framework and this work is currently being undertaken. This includes close liaison with a Technical Reference Group which consists of NESA and individual provider representatives. The group will also consider the development of new performance data management information and the requirements for provider training. All providers will have the opportunity to give feedback on these developments.
