Peter’s Work for the Dole placement was with the Fair Haven Retirement Village. He was given the responsibility of managing and organising activities. As a result of this activity and her first aid qualification, Maria found part-time employment at a local after-school care centre looking after children and is about to commence a childcare course using the Training Credits she earned during her Work for the Dole placement.
