The report contains the results from a survey of South Australian primary school teachers on the generic skills that they use at work. The primary aim of the pilot was to test if survey questions on generic work skills are suitable for inclusion in the Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC), to be conducted in 2011 by establishing whether cross-national comparisons of skill use are feasible.
