Need Staff - Call the Employer Hotline
On 13 June 2007, the Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations, the Hon Joe Hockey MP, announced the launch of the third phase of the Australian Government’s Welfare to Work advertising campaign. This final phase of the campaign targets employers who are struggling to fill vacancies because of a record low unemployment rate of 4.2 per cent.
The Need staff? campaign began on 17 June 2007 and will run in the media for five weeks. There will also be a direct mail-out nationally to more than one million employers to tell them about the government services and incentives available.
