Consultation on the structure, independence, powers, resourcing and other matters relating to the new specialist division will be conducted by the Honourable Murray Wilcox QC, who will report to the Government by the end of March 2009.
In order to properly undertake this task, the Government has asked his Honour to consult with all industry stakeholders about their views on the best arrangements for the operation of the Specialist Division.
Murray Rutledge Wilcox QC is a former Australian Federal Court Judge, serving from May 1984 until retiring in October 2006. He also served as the Chief Justice of the Industrial Relations Court of Australia.
