Australians Working Together - Evaluation Strategy
The measures contained in the Australians Working Together (AWT) package represent comprehensive improvements to Australia’s social support system for working age people. Given the significance of the changes in the package, the Government made a commitment to a full evaluation.
The purpose of the evaluation will be to assess, as far as possible, whether the package of measures and initiatives are effective in meeting the AWT objectives, and whether these measures are an efficient way to achieve these objectives. The evaluation is conducted jointly between the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations and the Department of Family and Community Services.
The Evaluation Strategy outlines the scope of the evaluation and the issues to be addressed as well as the methodology and data sources to be used in the evaluation.
