The historical information on these pages is provided for information only, and may no longer be relevant. Please see the Previous Tenders- Disclaimer.

Job Placement Services are the Australian Government funded recruitment services, with more than 400 recruitment organisations delivering services from over 2500 offices.

As outlined in The Future of Employment Services in Australia Discussion Paper and in the Frequently Asked Questions, Job Placement Licence Only arrangements will not form part of the new employment services system. The Job Placement Licence 2006-2009 will cease on 30 June 2009.

Applications for a Job Placement Licence are no longer accepted.

From 1 July 2009, under the new employment services, Job Services Australia providers will gather vacancies, match and refer job seekers to employment.

For further information about the new employment services, including answers to Frequently Asked Questions, please refer to the Employment Services webpages.
