Agreement Making in Australia

Reports on agreement making in Australia under the Workplace Relations Act

These reports fulfil the requirements of the Workplace Relations Act 1996 under which the Minister must cause a person to review and report on developments, in Australia every few years, in bargaining for the making of agreements (see current section 844 of the Act).

The reporting requirement also includes the effects of bargaining on the employment (including wages and conditions of employment) of women, part-time employees, persons from a non-English speaking background, mature age persons and young persons.  These are referred to as designated group employees.
