1.The data in this report reflects a change in methodology from previous reports. Agreements assessed under the new No Disadvantage Test are included in this report if they were lodged with the Workplace Authority within the June quarter 2008. Previous reports included data based on approved agreements. The Department will monitor the assessment of all agreements in the June quarter report and make adjustments to the data for future editions of Trends if necessary.
We would like your suggestions
"The ‘Trends in Federal Enterprising Bargaining’ report is published each quarter by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations to provide an overview of developments in Federal collective agreement making, both for the reported quarter and for all current agreements.
The Department is keen to make sure the report remains relevant to the needs of all of its users.
Therefore, the Department is asking for suggestions you may have on how the report could be improved. This could include additional content in the report (including the reporting of information on employment conditions as well as wages), a focus on specific agreement making issues and information on sections of the report you find least useful .
We would welcome any suggestions you may have to enhance the report’s value. The Department would also welcome the opportunity to discuss any suggestions with you.

Information on wage trends in federal certified agreements from the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations is in the form of data tables. These tables include: current agreements, agreements lodged each quarter, expiring agreements and detailed breakdowns for type of agreement (EC - Employee Collective, UC - Union Collective, EG - Employer Greenfields, UG - Union Greenfields, LN), industry, sector and state.
If you wish to receive new data releases as they occur you can email ebtrends@deewr.gov.au and request to have your email address added to the distribution list.
This data is based on collective agreements in the DEEWR Collective Workplace Agreements Database (WAD) and includes estimates of employees weighted outcomes. The database contains all codeable collective agreements lodged with the Workplace Authority.
