This report includes a labour market overview of the Gladstone region, information on the tightening of the Australian labour market and an analysis of the Skills in Demand Survey conducted in the region.
Information on skills in demand is based on research conducted collaboratively by the Labour Supply and Skills Branch in conjunction with the Gladstone Better Connections Group. This research was conducted by the Department through telephone interviews in September 2006.
