This report includes a labour market overview of the Goldfields and Esperance region, information on the tightening of the Australian labour market and an analysis of the Skills in Demand Survey conducted in the region.
Information on skills in demand is based on research conducted collaboratively by the Labour Supply and Skills Branch and the Goldfields Esperance Development Commission. This research was conducted by the Department through telephone interviews in September and October 2006.
